Inaugural Workshop at Politics & Prose

Sunday, May 25, 02:00 PM - 03:15 PM @ Politics & Prose

Capitol Letters Writing Center, in conjunction with the Children’s Department, is thrilled to announce our inaugural monthly writing workshop at Politics + Prose!

“How to Turn Your Life into Great Fiction”
Lots of people claim nothing interesting has ever happened to them, but that’s just not true. Through this workshop, you will find that your life is much more intriguing than even you know, learn how to get it on paper, and then figure out ways to ‘punch it up’ using time-tested techniques of the best fiction writers. You will leave with a rough draft of a story you can then work on at home.

Ages 12+

Workshops will be held on the last Sunday of every month, beginning May 25th , from 2-3:15 pm. Admission is free, but space is limited to 15, so please RSVP to Karen Maloy as soon as possible to reserve a spot.
